If you love sightseeing, there are a variety of great locations, including castles, local museums, the old station, and even the Tintern Abbey. The Tintern Abbey lies between the river away and the southern end of a village and is a beautiful site with the tidal river frequently changing.

The Abbey is surrounded by woods, and these change colour as seasons go by. It makes for the perfect location for sightseeing and to learn a bit more about history. Tintern Abbey was originally founded in 1131 AD and was rebuilt in 1301. The site was taken over in 1914 by the Office of Works and is now a beautiful historical Monument.
